Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1 pound bacon, chopped
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Optional toppings: pickles, tomatoes, mustard
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
Add the chopped bacon to the skillet with the ground beef and cook until the bacon is crispy.
Stir in the chopped onion and green bell pepper, and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
Reduce the heat to low. Add the softened cream cheese and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese until melted.
Season with salt and pepper.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and bubbly.
Let it cool slightly before serving.
Top with your favorite burger fixings like pickles, tomatoes, or mustard if desired.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use a mix of cheeses like Colby Jack or Pepper Jack.
You can add other keto-friendly vegetables like mushrooms or jalapenos.
Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps.
