Make this easy, no-cook layered dip that tastes like classic bruschetta. It features a creamy base topped with fresh tomatoes, basil, and a balsamic glaze, perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces Boursin cheese or soft feta
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Boursin or feta, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and fully combined.
  2. Spread the cheese mixture evenly into the bottom of a serving dish or pie plate.
  3. In a separate small bowl, gently toss the diced tomatoes with the chopped basil and olive oil.
  4. Spoon the tomato and basil mixture evenly over the cheese layer.
  5. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top layer just before serving.
  6. Serve immediately with crusty bread, baguette slices, or crackers.

Notes

  • You can prepare the cheese base up to one day ahead and keep it covered in the refrigerator. Add the tomato topping just before serving.
  • For extra flavor, toast your serving bread lightly before serving.
  • If you prefer a slightly sharper flavor, substitute half of the cream cheese with goat cheese.
