Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 baguette, sliced horizontally
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ball (8 oz) fresh burrata cheese, torn into pieces
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, and Parmesan cheese.
  3. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the baguette slices.
  4. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and toasted.
  5. Remove the garlic bread from the oven.
  6. Arrange the torn burrata cheese pieces over the warm garlic bread.
  7. Top the burrata with the halved cherry tomatoes and torn basil leaves.
  8. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
  • If burrata is unavailable, fresh mozzarella can be used as a substitute.
  • Grilling the baguette slices instead of baking will add a smoky flavor.
