Ingredients
Scale
2 medium apples
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
Core the apples and slice them thinly, about 1/16 inch thick.
In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
Gently toss the apple slices in the cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated.
Arrange the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches.
Air fry for 10-15 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through.
Continue air frying until the chips are dry and crispy, checking frequently to prevent burning.
Let the apple chips cool completely in the air fryer basket or on a wire rack. They will crisp up more as they cool.
Notes
For best results, use firm apples like Gala, Fuji, or Honeycrisp.
Ensure apple slices are thinly and evenly cut for consistent crisping.
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
Cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer model.
