Ingredients
Scale
4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the corn kernels to the skillet. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is slightly tender and lightly browned.
Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the honey, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
Continue to cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the corn evenly. Do not boil.
Remove the skillet from the heat. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
If using frozen corn, you do not need to thaw it before adding it to the skillet.
For a richer flavor, use brown butter instead of regular melted butter.
You can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if you prefer a slightly thinner sauce.
