Ingredients
Scale
4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Pat the pork chops completely dry using paper towels. This step helps achieve crispiness.
In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Rub this seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
Lightly brush both sides of the seasoned pork chops with olive oil.
Preheat your air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
Place the pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes for 1-inch thick chops, flipping halfway through the cooking time. Adjust time based on thickness to reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
While the chops finish cooking, prepare the garlic butter. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Do not let the garlic brown.
Remove the cooked pork chops from the air fryer and place them on a serving plate.
Spoon the warm garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each hot pork chop.
Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving immediately.
Notes
For extra crispiness on thicker chops, you can lightly spray the tops with cooking spray just before the final flip.
If you prefer thinner chops, reduce the cooking time by 2 to 3 minutes total.
Always check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer for accuracy.
