Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed sirloin steak into your slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the steak evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Toss gently to coat the steak pieces.
  3. Pour the beef broth over the seasoned steak.
  4. Scatter the pieces of butter evenly over the top of the steak.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours until the steak is very tender.
  6. About 15 minutes before serving, stir in the minced garlic.
  7. Once cooked, remove the steak bites with a slotted spoon and toss them in the remaining sauce in the slow cooker.
  8. Stir in the fresh parsley and serve immediately over mashed potatoes or rice.

Notes

  • For extra rich flavor, sear the steak cubes in a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes per side before adding them to the slow cooker.
  • This recipe works well with other cuts like chuck roast, but cooking time may need adjustment for tenderness.
  • Serve these juicy crockpot steak bites with roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
