You will love this simple, juicy baked chicken dinner. This recipe coats tender chicken breasts in a creamy Caesar and Parmesan sauce, making it a perfect, flavor-packed meal for any busy weeknight.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, pepper, and salt until you have a smooth, creamy mixture.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spoon the creamy Caesar mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast, spreading it to cover completely.
  5. If you want an extra crust, sprinkle the breadcrumbs lightly over the sauce layer.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) and the topping is lightly golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the juicy baked chicken breasts rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can use pre-shredded Parmesan cheese, but freshly grated melts better into the sauce.
  • For a one pan chicken dinner, add asparagus or broccoli florets to the baking dish around the chicken during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
  • This recipe captures classic Caesar salad flavors in a comforting main course.
