Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
4 ounces canned diced green chiles, drained
1/2 cup chopped pickled jalapeño slices, drained
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8-inch pie plate or small baking dish.
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
Mix in the Monterey Jack cheese, cheddar cheese, diced green chiles, chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Fold in half of the crumbled bacon.
Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly around the edges.
Remove from the oven. Sprinkle the remaining bacon and the sliced green onions over the top.
Serve immediately with tortilla chips, crackers, or baguette slices.
Notes
For a slow cooker version, combine all ingredients except the bacon garnish, place in a small slow cooker, and cook on low for 2 hours or high for 1 hour.
If you prefer less heat, remove the seeds from the jalapeños before chopping.
You can substitute cream cheese with Neufchâtel cheese for a slightly lighter option.
