A warm, cheesy dip that captures the fresh flavors of classic bruschetta, perfect for serving at gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 baguette, sliced 1/2 inch thick

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8-inch pie dish or small oven-safe skillet.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a separate small bowl, toss the halved tomatoes with the olive oil. Arrange these tomatoes over the top of the cheese mixture.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly around the edges.
  6. While the dip bakes, toast the baguette slices until lightly golden. You can do this in the oven during the last 5 minutes of baking or in a toaster oven.
  7. Remove the dip from the oven. Sprinkle the fresh chopped basil over the top.
  8. Serve the warm dip immediately with the toasted baguette slices for dipping.

Notes

  • For a crispier topping, you can briefly broil the dip for the last minute, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  • If you prefer a cold dip, skip the baking step and mix the tomatoes directly into the cheese mixture just before serving.
  • Serve with sturdy crackers or vegetable sticks if you need an alternative to bread.
