Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound cherry tomatoes
  • 1 pound fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), drained
  • 2 large ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Thread cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls onto small skewers.
  3. Brush the cut sides of the peaches with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill the peach halves for 3-4 minutes per side, until grill marks appear and they are slightly softened. Let cool slightly, then cut into bite-sized wedges.
  5. Thread grilled peach wedges onto skewers with the tomatoes and mozzarella.
  6. Arrange the skewers on a platter.
  7. Drizzle generously with balsamic glaze.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, grill the basil leaves for a few seconds until lightly wilted before adding them as garnish.
  • If fresh peaches are not in season, firm nectarines can be used as a substitute.
  • Ensure the peaches are ripe but still firm enough to hold their shape when grilled.
