Make a simple, café-style iced honey almond milk latte at home using brewed coffee or espresso.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. If using espresso, pull two shots. If using brewed coffee, make sure it is strong and cooled slightly.
  2. In a small bowl or jar, combine the honey, vanilla extract (if using), and a splash of the almond milk. Stir or shake until the honey is mostly dissolved. This creates a simple syrup base.
  3. Fill a tall glass completely with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the honey mixture over the ice.
  5. Add the remaining almond milk to the glass.
  6. Slowly pour the espresso or strong coffee over the milk mixture.
  7. Stir gently to combine all layers. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture without frothing, shake the almond milk vigorously in a sealed jar before adding it to the glass.
  • Substitute maple syrup or agave nectar for honey if you prefer a different sweetener.
  • If you do not have espresso, use 1/2 cup of very strong cold brew concentrate instead of hot coffee.
