Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin on or off
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined. This is your garlic butter.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture for a little heat.
Serve this salmon with steamed asparagus or roasted zucchini for a complete keto meal.
If you prefer pan-searing, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, sear the salmon skin-side down for 4 minutes, flip, add the garlic butter mixture, and cook for another 4-6 minutes until done.
