Make these Sriracha Honey Garlic Wings for a delicious party appetizer. The sweet and spicy sauce is addictive!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings, split into drumettes and flats
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional garnishes: chopped green onions, sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. This helps them get crispy.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, sriracha, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and grated ginger.
  4. Season the wings with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Flip the wings and bake for another 20 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  8. While the wings are baking, gently warm the sauce in a small saucepan over low heat. Do not boil.
  9. Once the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl.
  10. Pour the warm sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
  11. Return the sauced wings to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.
  12. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, you can bake them at 425°F (220°C) for 40-50 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Adjust the amount of sriracha to control the spice level.
  • If you don’t have rice vinegar, you can use white vinegar or apple cider vinegar.
